About the game

Your dino has places to be! Run across a sunny desert, leap over cacti and boulders, duck under swooping pterodactyls, and see how far you can go before the night falls — and the day comes round again.

It takes one tap to learn and a long time to master: the faster you run, the trickier it gets. Beat your best score to unlock five more dinos, each in its own colours.

Simple to play, hard to put down

Tap to jump, hold to jump higher, and hold the left side of the screen to duck. The faster you run, the trickier it gets.

Six dinos to unlock

Start with Rex, then beat your best score to unlock Blossom, Splash, Blaze, Midnight and the shining Goldie. Every one is earned by playing — none is ever sold.

A world that changes as you run

Watch the sun set, the stars come out and the morning return while you run.

Always fair

Every gap can be cleared. Before each release a perfect player runs the game to top speed forty times over, and it must never meet an obstacle it cannot get past.

How to play

Phone and tablet

Jump
Tap the right side of the screen. Hold to jump higher.
Duck
Hold the left side of the screen. In the air, it brings you down faster.
Pause
The pause button at the top, or leave the game — it pauses itself and counts 3-2-1 when you come back.

Windows — keyboard

Jump
Space or Up. Hold to jump higher.
Duck
Down. In the air, it brings you down faster.
Pause
P or Esc.
Full screen
F11 or Alt + Enter.

Six dinos to unlock

Everyone starts with Rex. Reach a new best score and the next dino joins you — choose any one you have unlocked from the Dinos button.

Where can I get Dino Runner?
Dino Runner is coming soon to Google Play, App Store, and Microsoft Store. This page links to each store the day the game is there.
Is Dino Runner really free?
Yes. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and nothing to pay for later — every dino is unlocked by playing.
Do I need the internet to play?
No. Dino Runner plays completely offline. The Android version does not even ask for internet access.
Where is my best score kept?
Only on your device, with your settings and the dinos you have unlocked. We never see it. Uninstalling the game deletes it; on Android, your phone’s own Google backup may bring it back on a new phone.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. It is cartoon dinosaurs jumping over cacti: no chat, no account, no ads, and nothing about anyone is collected.
Which languages is it in?
English and Italian. It follows your device’s language; you can choose either one in Settings.
