Neethi: Sri Lanka Law Guide — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Neethi: Sri Lanka Law Guide is an app made by Nugezza Developer, a Nugezza company. This policy explains what the app does with information about you. The short version: Neethi collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere. Everything it needs is inside the app.

What we collect

Nothing. Neethi does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal information. It has no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind, and it contains no third-party code that collects data. We have no server the app talks to.

No internet

Neethi works fully offline. The Constitution, the guides, the help contacts and the fonts are all inside the app, and search runs on your phone. The Android app asks for no permissions at all, not even internet access. The iPhone app loads only its own files, which come with the app.

What stays on your phone

Neethi keeps two small things in its own private storage on your phone: your settings (the language you chose, the text size, and light or dark mode) and the list of guides and Articles you saved. They never leave the phone and we cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Phone backups

If you back up your phone (Google backup on Android, iCloud or a computer backup on iPhone), the backup may include this storage, so your settings and saved list come back on a new phone. That backup is made and kept for you by Google or Apple under your own account settings; we never see it.

When you tap a link, Share, Copy or a phone number

A few buttons hand something to your phone, and only when you tap them. Neethi itself sends nothing in any of these cases.

A link to an official website or document opens in your phone’s browser. What happens there is governed by that browser and that website, not by Neethi.

Share hands the text to your phone’s share sheet, and you choose the app it goes to.

Copy puts the text on your phone’s clipboard.

Tapping a phone number opens your phone’s dialler with that number; you decide whether to call.

Children

Neethi is meant for people aged 13 and over. It collects no information from anyone, so it collects none from children.

The app stores

You download Neethi from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Those stores may collect information under their own privacy policies (for example, to process the download). We do not receive personal information about you from them beyond the anonymous, aggregated statistics the stores show every developer, such as the number of installs.

Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an online feature — we will update this page and the date above before that version is released, and the app will explain it before it is used.
