My Size

My Size keeps all of your measurements, and your family’s, in one place on your phone: 53 measurements from height and bust to inside leg, feet, hands and every finger, each shown as a tape on a real 3D body that you can turn, tilt and zoom, with how to measure it and a dated history. Pick what you are having made — a frock, an office shirt, a jacket, shoes, a ring, a watch, a bra — and My Size lists exactly the numbers the maker needs, works out lengths and sizes from your style choices, and lets you show them full-screen or send them as a picture, a message or a QR code. For online shopping, type the shop’s size chart and My Size tells you which size to order. Everything stays on your phone: no account, no ads, no internet.

For anyone who has clothes, shoes or jewellery made, buys clothes online, or keeps the measurements of a growing family.

What you need

  • An Android phone with Android 7.0 or newer, or an iPhone with iOS 15 or newer
  • A tape measure. No internet, no account and no sign-in: everything stays on your phone

What it does

A 3D body for every measurement

Woman, man or child: touch a part of the body and it zooms in, with the tape drawn where it goes and how to measure it in plain words. Step-by-step measuring walks you through all 52.

Get it made

Frock, blouse, saree blouse, skirt, trousers, office or casual shirt, jacket, dance costume (Bharatanatyam, Kandyan), shoes, jewellery and watches, accessories (belt, gloves, socks), bra and underwear: pick the style (length, sleeves, neck, collar, fit, heel, ring finger …) and My Size lists the numbers the maker needs and works out collar sizes and dress, skirt, jacket and sleeve lengths.

Show it, send it

Hand your phone over with the numbers full-screen, or send a picture sheet with a small 3D picture beside each number, a message, or a QR code any phone camera reads. The message can be written in the tailor’s language.

Ring, bangle and bra sizes

Ring sizes in EU, US, UK and Italian sizes from each finger, bangle sizes (2-6, 2-8 …), bracelet, necklace and anklet lengths, bra sizes (EU band and cup, with UK, US and Italian) and the usual briefs size. Also the watch strap and case for your wrist, belt, glove and sock sizes, and an office shirt’s collar size (15½ / 33).

Find my size in any shop

Type a shop’s size chart once and keep it: My Size picks the size, shows where each measurement falls, and says where it will be tight or roomy. Charts for dresses, tops, shirts, jackets, skirts, trousers, bras, underwear and shoes.

The whole family, four languages

Add your family (a one-time unlock), each with their own body picture and history, and a reminder to measure growing children again. In English, Sinhala, Tamil and Italian, in inches or centimetres.

Questions

Is My Size free?
Yes, for you: every feature, no ads and no account. Keeping the measurements of more people (your family) is a one-time unlock of US$0.99, and you can leave a tip if you like.
Do I need the internet?
No. Everything is inside the app, so it works with no connection at all. Only buying the family unlock or a tip goes through Google Play or the App Store.
Where are my measurements kept?
Only on your phone. My Size never sends them anywhere; they leave the phone only when you send or share them yourself. You can make a backup file in Settings and restore it on a new phone.
Inches or centimetres?
Both. Switch at any time: every number is kept in full and shown in the unit you pick, inches to the quarter.
How accurate are the ring, bra and shoe sizes?
They use the usual conversion tables, worked out from your own measurements. Brands differ, so for a ring or a bra a jeweller’s ring gauge or a fitting is the final word; My Size gets you close and tells the maker exactly what you measured.
Which languages is it in?
English, Sinhala, Tamil and Italian. It starts in your phone’s language and you can change it in Settings; the message to a tailor can be written in a different one.
Can I lock it?
Yes. Turn on the lock in Settings and My Size asks for your fingerprint, face or passcode when it opens. The check is done by your phone; My Size never sees it.
