Nugezza PDF Tools

Nugezza PDF Tools opens on a simple view of pages. Drop in PDFs, Word and Excel files or photos and each page appears, ready to move, turn, delete or copy between files. Select pages and the tool bar changes to the tools for those pages; right-click for everything else. Every tool works on one page or on many at once, and everything can be undone until you save.

Anyone who works with PDFs: offices, shops, students, and anyone who wants the tools without uploading their documents to a website.

What you need

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), macOS 12 or newer, or 64-bit Linux
  • 4 GB of memory; 8 GB recommended for translating
  • About 500 MB of disk space, plus about 650 MB if you use translation
  • Internet only to sign in, to check a monthly or yearly plan on its payment day, and to download the translation model once

What it does

Pages first

Drop any file and see its pages. Drag to reorder, select many, and right-click to act on all of them. Rename each file and work on it alone.

Edit

Change text, add text, notes, highlights, underlines, lines, arrows, boxes, circles, pictures and drawings. Crop pages and set their size. Redact removes words from the file for good.

Sign and stamp

Draw, type or import your signature and save it. Use ready-made stamps such as Approved or Paid with the date, or make your own.

Convert

Inside the app: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, pictures and web pages into PDF; PDF into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Markdown, text, PNG, JPG, WebP and TIFF.

Merge, split, compress

Join files, split by pages or ranges, and make files smaller with the size shown before and after.

Scan and OCR

Scan with a camera or a scanner, straighten the page, and make scans searchable. English, Italian, Sinhala, Tamil, French, German and Spanish are included.

Translate

Translate documents on your own computer, keeping the page layout or side by side. Your words are never sent anywhere. Machine translation: check anything important.

Compare, forms, repair

See what changed between two versions, fill in PDF forms, and rescue damaged PDFs. Protect files with a password.

Setting it up

  1. Download and install

Pick the download for your computer above. The note under it says what the first start asks.

  2. Sign in

Open the app. The Nugezza ID sign-in is the first thing you see: sign in or create your account. Your 30 free days start by themselves, with every tool. No card is needed.

  3. Keep it

Choose a plan on this page whenever you like, and the app carries on by itself.

Licensing

A free 30-day trial, then 5.99 euro a month, 59.99 euro a year, or 99.99 euro once to keep it for good. A monthly or yearly plan works until its next payment, offline too. On that day the app needs the internet to check the payment, then carries on by itself until the next one. Bought once, it works offline for good. One licence covers one computer. You can cancel a subscription at any time. To move your licence to a new computer, ask us in the chat. The app is made from open-source parts.

If something goes wrong

Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
The app is not yet signed with a Windows certificate. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
The Mac says the app cannot be opened
Open System Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll down and press Open Anyway. Your Mac asks this once.
A Word file loses some of its layout
The app reads Word files by itself, keeping text, tables and pictures. For an exact copy of the layout, install the free LibreOffice: the app uses it by itself when it is there.
Find or copying text does not work on a scan
A scan is a picture of words. Run OCR on it first.
The app says it is waiting for your next payment
Connect to the internet. Once the payment has gone through, the app opens by itself. If it stays closed, check your plan in your account on this website.
The app says the licence is in use on another computer
A licence is for one computer. Ask us in the chat on this website to move it.

Questions

Are my documents uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your computer, translation and OCR included.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. After the free trial you can pay 5.99 euro a month or 59.99 euro a year, or pay 99.99 euro once and keep it for good.
What happens after 30 days, or if a subscription ends?
The app stops opening documents until you buy it or subscribe again. Your files and saved signatures are not touched, and paying brings everything back.
Is the signature legally binding?
Sign places a picture of your signature on the page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, which some official documents need.
